Ok, so I might not be on the East coast, but I might as well be.
I've been in Ottawa for about 10 days now, and I'm finally starting to settle down into a little of a routine. We just got our internet and digital cable set up yesterday, which means I am now free to post on this lovely livejournal once more.
The plane ride was cramped, the moving process was slow, and putting together Ikea furniture for 6 hours was rather grueling, but I managed I suppose, and I'm not dead or crippled yet, so I guess we can chalk this one up as a point for me. On the topic of Ikea furniture, I dropped about 500 dollars on a little bedroom set, including a dresser, desk, bed frame, and end table. To my eventual chagrin however, the "double" bed frame that I bought ended up being a queen size, which you could imagine doesn't exactly work well with a double size mattress. Of course the bed frame its self took a couple hours at least to assemble, so instead of disassembling it, I choose to tear it apart with my calloused hands and set it aflame in my front yard.
Other then that, I went to see Greenday in concert here last monday. Amazing, amazing, such an incredible show. Jimmy Eat World opened for them and they sounded fantastic live, which is great. I went with my friend Becky, who's mom was kind enough to stand in line and get tickets for us. The place was packed full of screaming people, and we ended up having 12 German teenagers sitting behind us, and a white suburban family in front of us with an 8 year old kid, which was a little ridiculous. It was a good time though, the played mostly from their new album, but they busted out a lot of their older stuff too which was awesome, along with a couple cool covers, including a classic Queen cover of We Are The Champions. Good stuff.
I get to go out and look for a job today, I'm kinda fretting about this right now, cause the way it's goin I'm not gunna have enough money to pay for my rent next month. I did happen to score a little job dealing at a regular illegal poker game starting next tuesday. Which means I make tips and part of the rake, all under the table of course.
bahh, I'm not gunna bother making subtle disguised remarks, I miss Nancy a little, I really can't help it. And right now I've got a fever, one that only the love of a good woman can quell.

What about the love of a bad woman ^.-!
You know what, as family, strike those sentences, your last one included. I can't think of this. It's too mushy...toooo romancy-like in terms of context.
And I'm sure advil can quell that flu just as easily.
P.S Tony, obviously Puppies won't work. They can't quell ink (hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha *wipes tear from eye* God I'm good....)
